Job summary

adelphimedicalstaffing seeks a Board-certified Gastroenterologist for a locum Tenens assignment in Tyler, TX. The position covers inpatient care with 7a-7a call, Oct 15, 2026 – Nov 18, 2026, and requires ERCP, EUS, colonoscopy, and liver biopsy procedures.

Fellowship is required; TX license and BLS/ACLS/ATLS/ABLS certifications are needed. The role uses Epic EMR in a Trauma Level I setting with 1–2 RNs supporting the GI team.

Qualifications

• Board-certified gastroenterologist with fellowship in GI
• Texas licensed physician
• BLS, ACLS, ATLS, ABLS certifications

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled colonoscopies on a Mon-Fri schedule and inpatient consultations.
• Provide follow-up procedures in GI lab as needed.
• Collaborate with NPs and PAs for pre- and post-procedure workups.
• Manage complex GI patients in clinic and GI lab including endoscopic procedures.
