Job summary

CompHealth is seeking locum gastroenterology coverage with 24-hour inpatient availability. Most shifts are 8–10 hours, with 2–3 consults per day plus rounding and emergency cases. Typical procedures include ERCP, colonoscopy, and EGD in an inpatient hospital setting.

The recruiter will handle credentialing and logistics; housing and travel can be arranged. Short- and long-term assignments are available, with weekly pay and malpractice coverage included.

Qualifications

• Inpatient gastroenterology experience preferred.
• Endoscopy procedures (ERCP, colonoscopy, EGD) required.
• Ability to manage multiple consults and rounds daily.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour inpatient gastroenterology coverage.
• Support 2–3 consults per day plus rounding and emergency consults.
• Perform 2–3 scheduled procedures daily (ERCP, colonoscopy, EGD).
