Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a gastroenterology physician for an ongoing locum tenens assignment in Indiana. Shifts run Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with 9-hour blocks; you will cover both hospital and clinic settings, performing upper GI endoscopy, ERCP, PEG, EUS and colonoscopy.

The role requires esophageal manometry interpretation and entails about 15-17 procedures daily and around 10 days of call per month (including some weekend calls).

Qualifications

• Experience performing endoscopic procedures (UGI endoscopy, ERCP, colonoscopy).
• Ability to interpret esophageal manometry.
• Availability for ongoing locum tenens assignments.

Responsibilities

• Perform upper GI endoscopy, ERCP, PEG, EUS and colonoscopy.
• Interpret esophageal manometry results.
• Cover hospital and clinic shifts with appropriate patient care.
• Adhere to call schedule (10 days per month, includes some weekends).
