Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a locum tenens physician for a hospital-based assignment in Indiana. The role features a Monday–Friday, 7 am–5 pm schedule with no weekend clinic coverage and a defined call schedule on the 1st and 3rd weekends (10% call-back).

You will manage adult patients with upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, and small bowel biopsy, along with inpatient admissions and outpatient referrals via the online portal.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification is required.
• Upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, and small bowel biopsy experience is required.
• IBD training is preferred; ERCP and EUS experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient admissions, consultations, and outpatient referrals.
• Assignment details and time entry in the online portal.
• Coordinate care within a hospital-based adult patient population.
