Impact Workforce Solutions in Mayfield, KY is seeking a skilled Locomotive Welder to fabricate, assemble, repair, inspect and troubleshoot locomotive components in accordance with FRA standards. The role requires strong welding skills across MIG, Dual-Shield, Flux-Core, Pipe, Fabrication, and Stick processes.

Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of locomotive welding experience and knowledge of locomotive components.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of locomotive welding experience.
• Proficient in MIG, Dual-Shield, Flux-Core, Pipe, Fabrication, and Stick welding.
• Preferred SMAW and socket pipe welding certifications.
• Knowledge of locomotive components and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Weld locomotive components according to drawings and procedures.
• Inspect and repair components; perform maintenance.
• Adhere to FRA guidelines and safety protocols.
• Maintain records of work performed.
• Train junior welders as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
