Qualifications
- Drives and Power Electronics, AC Traction Drives, Induction Motor Control, Permanent Magnet Motor Control, Converter/Inverter Topologies, Field-Oriented Control (FOC), Torque and Speed Control, Drive Protection Functions
- Model-Based Development: Matlab/Simulink, Stateflow, Embedded Software Development, Auto-Code Generation, Verification, MIL/SIL Testing, Desktop Simulation, Control Validation, Requirements Traceability, Engineering Skills
- Requirements management: Configuration management, Design reviews, Defect analysis and resolution, technical communication
Responsibilities
- Develop drive control algorithms for locomotive propulsion.
