ComForCare is hiring for the Access Control Apprentice position in Madison, WI. This role is essential for the growth of FlyLock Security Solutions, requiring strong customer service skills, effective communication, and a mechanical aptitude. Responsibilities include providing timely customer service, responding to inquiries, and completing management-directed tasks. Ideal candidates will have a valid driver's license and preferably two years of experience in Security Solutions or Locksmithing. Flexible work-from-home options are available.

• Great work ethic and desire to expand knowledge base.
• 2 years prior Security Solutions and/or Locksmith experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Title and Reporting

Job Title: Access Control Apprentice
Reports To: Franchise Owner/ General Manager

Key Areas of Responsibility

The Access Control Apprentice position is an integral part of FlyLock Security Solutions - Madison and is key to the growth of the company. All Security Access Control Apprentices must have the ability to work well in a high-paced working environment. The individual must work well as part of the team and independently from the FlyLock owner. The Access Control Apprentice position is a hands-on technical position geared toward an individual who has a technical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of timely & accurate customer service.
• Communicates effectively with the client to determine what services are needed.
• Respond to general inquiries from customers/clients.

Operations Support

• Receive verbal instructions from Management or Clients/Customers.
• Perform small projects as directed by Management.
• Complete and submit paperwork accurately and on time.

Must Haves

• Must have a clear and valid driver’s license.
• Mechanically minded and IT-savvy with.
• Ability to communicate at a high level with customers and management.
• Ability to convey services in writing for both service calls and estimates into report form for invoicing.
• Great work ethic.
• Desire to continually expand the knowledge base in the field.
• 2 years prior Security Solutions and/or Locksmith experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to fluently understand, speak, and write English.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to kneel, crouch and stoop.
• Ability to reach above and below the shoulders.
• Ability to use hands and fingers to grasp, twist, and pull.
• Ability to climb a ladder and work above ground.
• Withstand external weather conditions year-round.
