Job summary

Sharon Heights Golf & Country Club is seeking an Overnight Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness across the property during nighttime hours. You will handle deep-cleaning tasks, stock supplies, and keep locker rooms, clubhouses, and fitness areas in pristine condition.

The role supports daily operations and may require lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods. Evening hours include 8:00pm-2:30am or 6:00pm-2:30am, with morning availability on Mondays preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or similar role preferred.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment and safety standards.
• Comfortable working independently during night shifts.
• Good communication and friendly approach with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and organized locker room, restrooms, and showers.
• Restock towels, toiletries, and supplies; ensure areas are stocked.
• Transport towels to/from laundry area.
• Empty and sanitize garbage cans; keep environment clean.
• Clean steam room and special facilities in Men’s Locker Room.
• Upholstery cleaning for couches and chairs in Clubhouse areas.
• Clean fitness center: vacuum, mop, sanitize floors.

Job Purpose:

The Overnight Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the property during nighttime hours. This role ensures that key areas are clean, stocked, and ready for daily use, supporting smooth daytime operations. Responsibilities include performing deep-cleaning tasks, restocking supplies, cleaning carpets, maintaining clubhouse and locker room areas, and completing routine housekeeping duties.

Job Summary (Essential Functions)

• Maintain a clean and organized locker room, including restrooms and showers
• Monitor and replenish towels, toiletries, and other supplies to ensure all areas are fully stocked
• Transports towels to and from laundry area
• Empty, clean, and maintain garbage cans and waste baskets to ensure a clean environment
• Cleans and maintains the steam room area and other special facilities and equipment in the Men’s Locker Room
• Perform upholstery cleaning for couches and chairs in the Clubhouse and Tennis Clubhouse to maintain cleanliness and appearance
• Responsible for cleaning the fitness center, including vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, and maintaining a clean and sanitary environment

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

Must be able to lift 50 lbs., as well as stand for extended periods of time. Frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, stooping, squatting.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • While not required, a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Experience:
  
  • Prior housekeeping experience preferred
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment and maintain high cleanliness standards
• Skills:
  • Friendly, approachable, and able to communicate effectively with a variety of people.
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety protocols
  • Ability to keep the work area organized and be efficient
  • Ability to work independently

Work Schedule and Hours:

8:00pm-2:30am or 6:00pm-2:30am

Morning availability preferred on Monday

Hours may vary depending on operational needs
