Job summary

First Student is seeking a Location Safety Manager to provide operational oversight, guidance, and leadership in full safety supervision duties across the location. You will administer driver hiring and training programs, investigate incidents, prepare compliance documents, and analyze safety trends to improve performance.

This role requires 2–3 years in transportation or safety, a high school diploma, knowledge of safety regulations, and proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years transportation or safety-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of federal and state safety rules and regulations.
• Computer literacy with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Possess working vehicle for travel in service area.

Responsibilities

• Provides various reports and analyzes safety trends.
