Job summary

Siemens AG in Georgia is seeking a Location Procurement Manager to lead site-level procurement for a brand-new manufacturing facility, building the local supply base and establishing purchasing processes. You will partner with Engineering, Operations, Finance and EHS to execute CapEx projects and ramp up production.

The ideal candidate has CapEx sourcing experience, strong negotiation and cross-functional collaboration skills, and is willing to work on-site with travel during build and ramp

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering or finance.
• 5+ years of procurement/sourcing experience in manufacturing or similar environments.
• Experience sourcing CapEx projects (equipment, construction, MRO, facility services).
• Strong negotiation skills with RFx processes and contract awards.
• Financial acumen: budgeting, cost of ownership, and spend tracking.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Engineering/Operations.
• Proficiency with ERP and procurement tools; strong Excel skills.
• Willingness to work on-site and travel during build/ramp phases.
• US work authorization (no sponsorship required).

Responsibilities

• Develop the site supply chain by onboarding local/regional suppliers.
• Lead CapEx sourcing for equipment, construction, utilities, and services.
• Govern purchasing to align with budgets and approvals.
• Draft and manage contracts, SLAs, and change orders.
• Establish supplier KPIs and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, Quality, IT, and EHS.
• Conduct strategic sourcing and make/buy analyses.
• Set up purchasing processes and ensure ERP data accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and bidding requirements.
