Responsibilities

  • Build and manage location plans for light pole banner campaigns using spreadsheets and mapping tools.
  • Track selected banner locations through the database system.
  • Prepare and submit permit applications to municipalities across the region.
  • Monitor permit process and guide applications through to approval.
  • Coordinate and track permit fee payments.
  • Present location plans to clients and internal teams.
  • Provide installation instructions to the GMM installation team.
  • Compile installation and removal reports from field data.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and processes.
  • Support limited client communication and coordination.

Job description

Gold Metropolitan Media is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Location Planner / Permit Manager to join our growing team. This role is central to the success of our city light pole banner programs and is responsible for planning banner locations, managing permit applications, coordinating installations, and ensuring projects move smoothly from concept to completion.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys project coordination, working with maps and data, and managing details across multiple moving pieces. The ideal candidate is proactive, process-driven, and motivated to learn, with a strong ability to stay organized and keep projects on track.

What You’ll Do
  • Build and manage location plans for light pole banner campaigns using spreadsheets and mapping tools
  • Track selected banner locations through the database system
  • Prepare and submit permit applications to municipalities across the region
  • Monitor the permit process and proactively guide applications through to approval
  • Coordinate and track permit fee payments
  • Present location plans to clients and internal teams
  • Provide detailed installation instructions to the GMM installation team
  • Compile installation and removal reports using information gathered from the field team
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, efficiency, and internal processes
  • Support limited client communication and coordination

Work Schedule

Location

Candidates must live in the Los Angeles area.

This position will initially be primarily remote, with occasional workdays in our Van Nuys office. During the initial training period, the candidate may be asked to come into the office more frequently to support onboarding and hands‑on learning. As the team continues to grow, the role may transition to more regular in-office collaboration.
