Job summary

Auto Ramp Services (ARS) at PTI seeks a Location Manager for Centreville, IL. You will oversee operations, supervise unloaders and checkpoint staff, coordinate daily activities, and ensure safety and policy compliance for our railroad/loading services.

Ideal candidate has management experience, can work weekends, starts early at 7:00 AM, and can lead a team while maintaining strong customer communication and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Leading and coordinating multiple personnel and shift teams.
• Ability to recruit, onboard, train and supervise staff.
• Strong scheduling, safety awareness and compliance with procedures.
• Effective communication with customers and internal teams.
• Capability to train staff on safety requirements and procedures.
• Proven leadership in a logistics/operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, hiring, and onboarding qualified personnel.
• Training employees on safety requirements and company procedures.
• Ensure adherence to policies set by company and customers.
• Coordinate day-to-day activities of unloaders and checkpoint personnel.
• Monitor performance and participate in unload processes.
• Manage inventory control procedures and scanning operations.
• Maintain communication with railroad customers.
• Be responsive to customer needs amid shifting schedules.
• Promote safety awareness and daily customer reporting.
