Auto Ramp Services (ARS), a PTI affiliate, seeks a Location Manager for St. Paul, MN. Lead PTI location operations, oversee unloaders and checkpoint staff, and ensure safety and customer satisfaction.

Manage recruitment, training, scheduling, and daily reporting to meet railroad client expectations. Role emphasizes safety as the top priority, with responsibility for coordinating activities, maintaining communication with customers, and adapting to changing schedules.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership skills with experience managing multiple people.
• Ability to train and educate employees on safety requirements and procedures.
• Experience coordinating day-to-day activities with trucking companies and unloaders.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, hiring, and onboarding qualified personnel.
• Training and educating all employees on safety requirements, company procedures, etc.
• Ensuring that policies and procedures set forth by the company and our customer are followed.
• Coordinating day-to-day activities of unloaders and checkpoint personnel (scheduling, working with trucking companies, etc.)
• Monitoring performance of unloaders and participating in unload processes.
• Monitoring checkpoint procedures for inventory control (scanning out loaded inventory).
• Maintaining communication between the company and railroad customers.
• Responding to customer needs while schedules vary to ensure compliance.
• Promoting and practicing safety awareness.
• Daily reporting and communication with the customer.
