Job summary

Central Valley Ag in Polk, NE is seeking a Full-Time Location Manager to lead strategic operations at the Polk location. You will oversee personnel, asset, inventory, safety, and financial performance while building strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities include coaching and supervising a team, planning safety programs, managing daily operations, coordinating grain movement with ROM, and ensuring accurate billing and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team and handle hiring, training, mentoring, motivating, assigning tasks, goals, review performance, promotion, transfers, PIP’s, or terminations.
• Engage in 1/1 discussions with direct reports and develop goals/plans to deliver results.
• Develop individual development plans to retain and advance staff.
• Recruit and hire qualified employees for the location.
• Foster employee engagement and improve locational engagement.
• Lead and plan daily operations of the location; delegate duties.
• Coordinate grain movement plans with ROM and ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure safety standards and conduct regular trainings and audits.
• Oversee facility and equipment maintenance and appearance; manage inventories.
• Load/unload trains and interact with customers to meet needs.
