Job summary

NEW Cooperative Inc. is seeking a Location Manager to direct, promote, and coordinate all aspects of the location, aligning with the Cooperative’s mission and goals. You will work with Area and District Managers while leading a team and ensuring safety, profitability, and growth.

The role emphasizes supervising staff, driving operations, budgeting, and maintaining strong communications with leadership. A CDL and agribusiness experience are essential, with a commitment bonus eligibility mentioned

Qualifications

• Significant agribusiness-related experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in grain and/or agronomy operations.
• Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement and pesticide handler’s license required.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating manuals, and procedures.
• Understanding seasonality of the farm supply business and in-season time commitment.
• Proficiency with common computer programs and processes.
• Ability to guide employees while maintaining individualism in tasks and direction.

Responsibilities

• Supervise location employees with guidance and oversight.
• Provide vision and leadership for the location team.
• Schedule and facilitate location group and individual meetings.
• Direct education and development of the location team through classes and coaching.
• Fill openings by evaluating, interviewing, and extending offers; train new employees.
• Manage accounts receivable issues as needed.
• Direct safety practices and awareness as defined by safety staff.
• Review inventory reconciliations with area managers when inconsistencies exist.
• Collaborate with dispatchers and area managers to execute a daily logistics plan.
• Remain knowledgeable about sales marketing programs of all departments.
• Assist with daily location operations as needed.
• Work toward meeting location budgets prepared annually by department.
• Explore site expansion and growth opportunities with area and district managers.
• Promote company culture through sales, service, and employee development.
• Communicate with Area Managers, District Managers, Senior Leadership, and CEO as required.
• Maintain open communication with supervisors and fellow employees.
