Job summary

Central Valley Ag, a farmer-owned cooperative, is seeking a full-time Location Manager for Akron, IA. You will oversee daily operations, personnel, safety programs, and inventory, while aligning with CVA’s mission and long-term growth.

The role requires strong leadership and experience in grain/agronomy operations. You will collaborate with regional leaders to optimize assets, improve processes, and drive customer satisfaction at the Akron location.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience in a grain role or related operations.
• Ability to manage personnel and safety compliance.
• Strong financial oversight and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead location operations and supervise 2–12 employees.
• Develop and execute safety programs and training.
• Manage grain and agronomy inventories and procurement.
• Collaborate with regional leaders on strategic plans.
• Monitor financial performance and budgeting for the location.
• Coordinate with ROM and other departments on daily plans.
