Job summary

sci is seeking an experienced operations leader to oversee financial management, planning, and staff development for our location. You will partner with Market Leadership to set budgets, goals, and compliance standards while ensuring service excellence and regulatory adherence.

The role requires funeral service licensure, a Mortuary Science degree where applicable, and a track record of managing budgets and teams. Join us to drive sustainable growth and quality care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mortuary Science where required by state law.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Finance & Accounting coursework (12 hours) preferred.
• Marketing or Business coursework (12 hours) preferred.
• State Funeral Director Licensure required.
• Technical schooling diploma in Funeral Services/Mortuary Science preferred.

Responsibilities

• Financial Management and develop annual business plan.
• Coordinate with local and Market Leadership to set annual financial, production and revenue goals.
• Monitor and achieve annual financial goals; approve expenditures and invoices including overtime.
• Ensure operations comply with applicable regulations and Company policies.
• Develop, communicate, and monitor location goals, priorities, processes and procedures.
• Develop frontline supervisors and staff, including hiring and performance management.
• Collaborate with HR on discipline, development, and termination processes.
• Maintain building and grounds, budgeting for repairs and equipment.
