Sanco Equipment in Rochester/Stewartville, MN seeks an experienced Location Manager to lead our dealership operations. This role requires overseeing sales, parts, service, and rental departments and driving profitability while maintaining a strong team culture.

You will manage daily activities, coach staff, and ensure high customer satisfaction, with a Monday–Friday schedule and no weekends to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment, agricultural, automotive, powersports, or similar dealership environment.
• Leadership experience in dealership parts, service, sales, or operations.
• Strong understanding of dealership operations and how departments work together.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the dealership and work with employees and leadership to achieve goals.

What You'll Do

As Location Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of the dealership while working closely with employees and company leadership to achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support employees across sales, parts, service, and rental departments.
• Manage location financial performance, including revenue, gross profit, expenses, and profitability.

• Resolve customer concerns and build strong relationships within the local community.
• Maintain productive relationships with manufacturer representatives and business partners.
• Ensure company policies, safety standards, and operating procedures are consistently followed.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an equipment, agricultural, automotive, powersports, or similar dealership environment.
• Previous leadership experience in dealership parts, service, sales, or operations.
• Strong understanding of dealership operations and how departments work together.
• Ability to understand financial statements, departmental profitability, and operational performance.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on environment and supporting employees with daily operational challenges.
• Experience with dealership management systems or ERP software.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience as a Parts Manager, Service Manager, Fixed Operations Manager, or Dealership General Manager.
• Background in construction or agricultural equipment.
• Experience managing multiple dealership departments.
• Familiarity with manufacturer warranty procedures and service operations.
