Locate utilities and structures unlocatable by traditional methods, including abandoned facilities, chemical transport, and other exotic utilities

Deliver safe and accurate locating results

Travel to job sites and use specialized company equipment to identify, locate, and mark underground utilities and structures

Locate utilities and structures unlocatable by traditional methods, including abandoned facilities, chemical transport, and other exotic utilities

Troubleshoot using industry knowledge, observational skills, problem-solving, deductive reasoning, and attention to detail

Deliver safe and accurate locating results

Communicate professionally with job site contacts

Maintain clear and courteous communication with customers and co-workers

Requirements

2+ years of experience as a public or private utility locator

Proven accuracy and professionalism

Experience locating multiple utility types in varied environments

Experience with an engineering or SUE firm is a plus

Strong communication and customer service skills

Proficiency with Windows-based computers and Microsoft Office programs

Willingness and ability to learn new procedures and technologies

Ability to manage workload and deliver top-tier service independently

Ability to travel to job sites daily

Ability to work overtime and after hours as dictated by business needs

Overnight travel may be required

Must pass a fit-to-work physical
