Job summary

Aquent is seeking a dedicated Music, TV & Sports Localization QA Specialist to support our client's localization efforts in Cupertino. You will manage localization QA, collaborate with global vendor testers, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality localized media in up to 40 languages.

This onsite role emphasizes designing QA plans, hands-on testing in the localization lab, bug fixing, and clear status reporting to management.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of localization workflows, internationalization (i18n), software QA methodologies.
• Proven localization project management, end-to-end testing, and bug tracking experience.
• Hands-on experience with content management databases and localization tools.
• Strong execution, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple rapid-turnaround projects within tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration across global teams.
• Native-level fluency in one or more non-English languages is a plus.

Job description

In this role, you will manage localization QA, collaborate with local and international vendor testers, and work closely with internal cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for creating comprehensive QA plans, supporting hands‑on testing efforts in the localization lab, fixing bugs, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality localized media products across up to 40 languages simultaneously. The ideal candidate quickly recognizes and escalates critical issues while communicating project status clearly to management.

Location: Cupertino, CA
Schedule: Onsite 5 days per week
Duration: through 3/19/2027

Preferred Qualifications

• Platform Familiarity: Competence with iOS, tvOS, and related ecosystem platforms, along with strong familiarity with our client’s products and services.
• Technical Skills: Scripting experience in Python and JavaScript to assist with workflow automation.
• Linguistic Skills: Native‑level fluency in one or more non‑English languages.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in localization, internationalization, or software QA.
