Nexon America is seeking a Localization Copy Editor to write and edit in-game text and voiceover scripts across Nexon titles. You will help define style rules, maintain localization docs, and monitor progress with the project manager.

The role operates in a hybrid model, with 2–3 days in the office weekly. The candidate will edit to Nexon’s established voices while ensuring engaging, accurate content for a western audience.

Qualifications

• Edit and culturally adapt in-game text and voiceover scripts for a western audience.
• Help set new style rules and update localization documents.
• Monitor copy editing progress and communicate with project managers as issues arise.
• 2–3 years game-related experience and 3–5 years professional writing experience.

Responsibilities

• Edit and culturalize translated game text and voiceover scripts to be entertaining and accurate.
• Create and update localization documents and style guides.
• Guide style direction by initiating discussions with PM and copy editing lead.
• Own copy editing tasks by tracking updates and allocating work among editors.
• Other duties as assigned.
