Job summary

Nexon America is seeking a Localization Copy Editor in El Segundo, CA to write and edit in-game text and voiceover scripts across Nexon titles. You will help shape style guides and localization processes while coordinating with project managers and editors to keep on schedule.

The role requires 2–3 years game-related writing experience, a Bachelor's in English preferred, and strong grammar, CAT tools familiarity, and collaboration with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English preferred.
• Creative writing background preferred.
• 2–3 years game-related writing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Edit and culturalize translated game text and VO scripts for a western audience.
• Create and update localization documents (style guides, NPC documents, story bibles, QA notes).
• Guide the style direction by initiating discussions with PM and copy editing lead.
• Track progress of copy editing tasks and escalate issues to PM when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
