Job summary

Optimum Care Group, Northern Ireland's Leading Health & Social Care Organisation, is recruiting a Locality Coordinator for Newtownards. This permanent, full-time role offers 37.5 hours weekly with a competitive salary of £31,951.89 and generous annual leave.

You will coordinate care provision, liaise with clients and families, and lead a small care team while handling administration and recruitment tasks. The successful candidate will have at least 1 year domiciliary care experience, 5 GCSEs

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs (Grade C or above) including Maths and English.
• Strong IT and Communication skills.
• Full driving licence, access to own car and contactable by mobile phone.
• Car insurance in connection with business.
• A minimum of 1 year domiciliary care experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and acceptable standards of care in a safe environment and that care provision meets statutory requirements.
• Liaise with client, families, care management and Trust representatives to formulate care provision.
• Effectively coordinate and support a team of care staff.
• Coordinate all areas of administration.
• Participate in recruitment and selection of staff.
