TAKKION is hiring wind technicians for the Haystack site in Carroll, NE. The role supports a customer-based regional program and offers growth through on-site and regional project opportunities.

New hires can enter with varying experience levels; the program provides structured training and certification pathways to progress within the wind industry. This is a safety-sensitive role requiring strong teamwork and attention to detail.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related maintenance experience.
• Active GWO Basic Safety Training certificate preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience around heavy equipment preferred.
• Understand, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, braking, and electrical systems of a turbine.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Mansioni

• Participate in daily safety meetings and Job Safety Analyses.
• Inspect tools, equipment, towers, and turbine components.
• Climb towers (up to 260 feet) to inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment.
• Perform mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Complete written and electronic work reports accurately.
