Nexstar Media Group, Inc. in Phoenix seeks a Sales Account Executive to generate advertising revenue by calling on agencies and new prospects, presenting the value of television advertising, and building credible relationships with the local business community.

You will maintain accounts, deliver customized campaigns, explain rates, and collaborate with station teams to develop schedules that meet client goals. A degree in Marketing or related field and at least one year in sales are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or Mass Communications, or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
• Minimum one year’s experience in sales, preferably in the media field.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Experience achieving long-range objectives and implementing strategies to achieve them.
• Proficiency with office equipment (computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines).

• Grows advertising revenue by calling on established agencies and new prospects and presenting the merits of television advertising.
• Establishes credible relationships with the local business community.
• Makes sales calls on existing and prospective clients and maintains assigned accounts.
• Prepares and delivers sales presentations to clients.
• Explains how specific advertising will help promote products or services.
• Develops advertising schedules with clients and station personnel.
• Collaborates with clients and staff to develop advertisements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
