Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Local Service Experts to work onsite at a TurboTax location in the United States, delivering full‑service tax return preparation and expert tax advice to in‑person and virtual clients.

You will engage with clients to understand their complete financial picture, connect them with the right Intuit specialists, and grow the local TurboTax business while delivering a best‑in‑class customer experience.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional tax software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00–17:00 local time, ≥20 hours/week.
• Willing to complete training and development as required, including compliance and cross-training.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, including simple to complex scenarios.
• Engage in discovery sessions and tax reviews to optimize deductions and refunds and plan future taxes.
• Act as a community ambassador to grow local client base with marketing support.
• Build relationships and connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services within Intuit.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience in person and via video tools.
