Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking motivated individuals to join as TurboTax - Local Service Experts at our US locations.

You will provide hands-on tax preparation, tax advice, and software support, while building a local client base and collaborating with a team of specialists to deliver end-to-end Intuit services. You will be onsite at a TurboTax location, serving both in-person and virtual clients, and will grow the customer base through community outreach and local events in partnership with marketing

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 returns per season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 20 hours/week minimum; hours may increase during peak tax season.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and be featured in advertising materials.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future planning advice.
• Grow TurboTax client base locally through outreach, events, and partnerships with marketing support from TurboTax.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem services such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience and help clients achieve financial goals.
