Job summary

Rands Trucking, Inc. is seeking a dependable Truck Driver/Forklift Operator in Wisconsin to transport loads between our facility, the local paper mill, and Gates Warehouse, as well as assist with unloading outside carriers.

Flexibility is required to handle varying daily tasks and after-hours calls. You will regularly shuttle paper loads on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, unload and stack at Gates, and ensure safe, timely delivery while following all safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift certification.
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and ability to safely operate required trucks.
• Dependable and willing to work a flexible schedule, including occasional after-hours calls.
• Ability to safely load, transport, and unload materials.
• Commitment to following all applicable safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Transport loads between facility, paper mill, and Gates Warehouse.
• Assist with unloading outside carriers and stack/load at Gates warehouse.
• Unload and load products between sites as needed; unloads you at Bio-Origin when applicable.
• Regularly scheduled shifts on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays; 4–6 hours per day.
• Flexibility to accommodate production needs and after-hours calls.

• Schedule: Monday-Saturday, approximately 4-6 hours per day with some on-call requirements

• Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time

• Starting Pay: $24.29/hour | Increases to $25.36/hour after 90 days

• Overtime: 1.5 regular hourly rate

Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable Truck Driver/Forklift Operator to transport loads between our facility, the local paper mill, and Gates Warehouse, as well as assist with unloading outside carriers. Flexibility is required.

Schedule & Responsibilities

• Regularly scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays running paper loads between Rands and Bio-Origin or their Gates Warehouse in Ladysmith.

• You unload and stack all product at the Gates warehouse. They unload you at Bio-Origin.

• Work approximately 4-6 hours per day.

• May need assistance Monday, Wednesday, or Friday and will call as needed.

• Flexibility is required because sometimes Bio-Origin has machines go down, and they need to continue work at another nearby building. They may call after hours to have a couple of trailers shuttled over so production can continue.

Requirements

Compensation

• Starting wage: 24.29/hour(25.36/hour after 90 days)

• Overtime paid at 1.5 the regular hourly rate
