Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Hammond, LA is hiring a Class B CDL Truck Driver for local home-daily routes. Expect 40 hours weekly, with a guaranteed schedule and a start window from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM, delivering to Hammond and surrounding areas.

Position offers weekly pay, medical/dental/vision after 30 days, PTO from day 1 (up to 80 hours first year), uniforms, boot allowance, 401(k) with company match, and a 12-week maternity leave program. Ryder emphasizes safety and continued training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Must have Class A or Class B verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months/2 years/5 years within specified periods.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs.
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer.

• Hourly Pay: $23.83 Per Hour
• Hours Per Week: 40 hours guaranteed
• Safety Bonus:Pays You $350 Four Times A Year, Every Quarter
