Job summary

JDEE Transport Services is a driver employment agency placing drivers across the United States. Local truck driving positions are available within 35 miles of Mt. Pleasant, IL/WI with multiple shifts.

100% no touch freight, Hazmat required within 90 days, and a potential shift transfer after 6 months. Compensation starts at $70,000 yearly with mileage and accessorial pay. New drivers begin at 0.48 CPM with annual increases up to 0.55 CPM, plus live load, drop & hook, and other ride-along

• 3 months TT experience in past 6 months or 6 months in past year or 1 year in past 5 years.
• Hazmat may be required within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to pass urine and hair test.
• No smoking inside the truck.

Responsibilities

• Local intermodal driving within 35 miles of Mt. Pleasant, IL/WI.
• Operate 100% no-touch shipments.
• Deliver freight from Chicago rail yards as part of routine schedule.
• Potential shift transfer after 6 months of service.

JDEE Transport Services is a Class A driver employment agency. We place drivers in positions across the United States. All positions are permanent.

Currently, we have a need for drivers within a 35 mile radius of Mt. Pleasant area for Local truck driving positions. This a Intermodal account delivering freight of all kind. This account has various shifts to choose from. However, these positions won't last long.

Pay

$70,000 yearly

New drivers start @ 0.48 CPM regardless of experience and will earn a 0.01 CPM increase every year after they are hired up to 0.55 CPM

• All Hub miles paid equal loaded/empty
• $65 for live load by customer (approximately 20% live load)
• $40 for drop & hook at CUSTOMER regardless of pickup or delivery - (Approximately 80% drop &
  hook)
• $25 extra per Hazmat load
• $30 extra per Refrigerated load
• $15 for any empty move and $23 - $55 for crosstown drop depending on the ramp distance.
• $20/hr. of rail delay (after 1 hour wait)
• $20/hr. after 1.5 hour wait -- Then $25/hr. after the 1st hour
• Ramp Specific Training After Orientation: Training will last at least 5 full days for new hires. Training Pay is $250 per day

Requirements

• Class A license
• 3 months verifiable T/T experience in the past 6 months, 6 months experience in the past year or 1 year of verifiable T/T driving experience in the past 5 years
• Ability to pass urine and hair test
• Good customer service
• Hazmat obtained within 90 days of hire
• No smoking inside the truck.

Position Details

• 100% no touch!
• Hazmat is required within 90 days of hire.
• Drivers will go to Chicago rail yards daily
• Drivers could potentially have the option to transfer to a more desirable shift after 6 months
• If obtained after hire, account will reimburse. Driver will need to provide paperwork.
