Job summary

C3 Trucking is seeking qualified truck drivers for an intermodal account based in Racine, WI. Successful candidates will earn starting pay of $0.48 CPM with an increase each year up to $0.55 CPM. Drivers are required to live within 35 miles of Racine and will primarily transport goods to Chicago rail yards.

The position offers a $5000 sign-on bonus, 100% no-touch freight, and additional pay for specific load types. Applicants must have 3 months of Class A experience and a clean background.

Qualifications

• 3 months class A experience with a 53 foot trailer.
• Clean MVR and background.
• Must be able to pass a hair and urine drug test.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods safely to Chicago rail yards.
• Complete ramp-specific training after orientation.
• Maintain a clean driving record while on duty.

Intermodal Account

Must live within 35 miles of Racine WI

Monday - Friday

Start Time: 1300 (1:00 PM)

New drivers start @ 0.48 CPM regardless of experience and will earn a 0.01 CPM increase every year after they are hired up to 0.55 CPM

All Hub miles paid equal loaded/empty

$65 for live load by customer (approximately 20% live load)

$40 for drop & hook at CUSTOMER regardless of pickup or delivery (Approximately 80% drop & hook)

$25 extra per Hazmat load

$30 extra per Refrigerated load

$15 for any empty move and $23 - $55 for crosstown drop depending on the ramp distance

$20/hr of rail delay (after 1 hour wait)

$20/hr after 1.5 hour wait -- Then $25/hr after the 1st hour

Ramp Specific Training After Orientation: Training will last at least 5 full days for new hires. Training Pay is $250 per day

• 100% no touch!
• Hazmat is required within 90 days of hire.
  • If obtained after hire, account will reimburse. Driver will need to provide paperwork.
• Drivers will go to Chicago rail yards daily
• Drivers could potentially have the option to transfer to a more desirable shift after 6 months
