Job summary

Estes Express Lines is seeking a CDL A driver to transport freight while complying with FMCSA regulations and company policies. The role involves pre-trip inspections, safe operation across terrains, and dock support as needed.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of driving experience, HazMat/Tanker/Doubles endorsements, and the ability to pass medical, road, and drug tests. Residency within 75 miles of a service center is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL and be FMCSA compliant.
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.
• MUST reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center/work assignment.
• Minimum 1 year of driving experience.
• Pass FMCSA medical exam, a road test, and mandatory drug/alcohol screening.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate all types of equipment and perform safety functions.
• Transport freight in compliance with FMCSA and company policies.
• Maintain required records and comply with hazardous materials regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Load/unload freight and support dock operations as needed.
• Report maintenance issues and adhere to safety standards.
• Adhere to security procedures for equipment and cargo.
• Attend as required and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
