Intuit, Inc. seeks TurboTax Local Service Experts to support customers at a TurboTax location nationwide. This role blends tax expertise with local entrepreneurship, delivering end-to-end tax services in person and virtually.

You will be onsite performing full-service tax return preparation, providing expert advice, and collaborating with specialists in bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services to grow a thriving local practice and foster client relationships.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• 3+ years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Must complete training and development as determined by the business.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and allow use of name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador to grow the local TurboTax client base through outreach and events.
• Build relationships across Intuit ecosystem by connecting clients with bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience onsite and via Intuit video tools.
