Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a safety-focused Tanker Operator to transport cement from terminals to our plant locations. You will perform inspections, manage logs and paperwork, and communicate with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL with tanker experience preferred, a current DOT medical card, and a clean driving record. You’ll join a team committed to safety, service, and accuracy in every load.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with tanker operation experience or endorsement beneficial.
• Current DOT Medical Card and clean driving record.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe material transport practices.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A tanker trucks transporting cement to SRM locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork per DOT rules.
• Coordinate with dispatch for routes and delivery updates.
• Ensure secure loading/unloading with minimal spillage.
• Follow routes, schedules, and safety procedures; provide excellent site service.
• Report vehicle issues or incidents promptly; stay current on safety policies.
