The role requires organizing workload, working independently after training, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Experience in shipping and warehouse operations, forklift capability, and Excel proficiency are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with shipping systems (UPS/FedEx/Shippo), carrier services, and shipping documents.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• A valid driver’s license and comfort safely operating a straight truck.
• Forklift certification and operating experience.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow job tickets to confirm order requirements, quantities, packing instructions, shipping or delivery details, and deadlines.
• Prepare completed orders for shipment or delivery and verify quantities, addresses, and labels.
• Coordinate pickups, compare carrier rates, and prepare shipping documents.
• Plan shipments around required arrival dates and events.
• Make local deliveries in the Greater Madison area using company vehicles; no CDL required.
• Maintain daily shipping and delivery schedule and assist with fulfillment tasks.
