Job summary

Ludlow Cooperative Elevator Co. in Ludlow, IL is seeking a Semi Driver to haul grain locally and be home daily. Pay ranges from $20 to $23 per hour, with opportunities for overtime and benefits.

Under the direction of the Manager and Logistics Coordinator, you'll operate company trucks, perform pre/post-trip inspections, maintain required paperwork, and adhere to all DOT and CDL regulations while delivering reliable service to customers.

Qualifications

• Experience working with the public demonstrating excellent customer service.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license along with a CDL.
• Be able to pass a DOT drug screening test.
• Maintain a safe, clean driving record.
• Must be willing to work hours beyond the normal work week, including some weekends.
• Must have an excellent attendance record and be at work promptly each day.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality service to all customers of the business.
• Perform Pre and Post trip inspections on your truck and trailer and report any issues needing to be addressed.
• Maintain all needed paperwork pertaining to the truck and loads being hauled.
• Maintain the cleanliness and general appearance of your equipment.
• Work in a safe manner and obey all safety procedures.
• Obey all State and Federal Laws along with all DOT and CDL regulations.
• Be able to work in a professional manner with other employees as assigned.
• Perform all other duties as assigned, including helping with operations duties if needed.
