Job summary

Landus Cooperative is seeking a nearby driver to haul grain, fertilizer, and related materials between locations. Local runs offer home every night, with very few exceptions, supporting Collins and Mitchellville hubs.

You will operate a semi tractor/trailer, perform inspections, keep logs, and stay current with DOT rules and Landus safety policies while coordinating with dispatch and shop personnel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or related experience.
• Class A CDL with endorsements or ability to obtain one and DOT physical.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle safely and in compliance with policy.

Responsibilities

• Haul grain, dry and liquid fertilizer to and from farms and company locations.
• Operate semi tractor and trailer in a safe and professional manner.
• Complete daily truck log sheets and perform vehicle inspections.
• Maintain clean truck/trailer and monitor maintenance needs.
• Communicate with dispatcher, shop personnel, and transportation supervisor.
• Follow Landus safety policies and DOT rules.
