Job summary

Landus Cooperative is seeking a driver to safely haul grain and fertilizer between locations with local routes that allow you to be home each night. You will operate a semi tractor and trailer, perform daily inspections, log trips, and maintain a clean, efficient vehicle while following all safety policies and DOT rules.

Requirements include a Class A CDL with endorsements or ability to obtain one, a GED or high school diploma, and readiness to work with multiple Landus hubs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience.
• Class A CDL with endorsements or ability to obtain one and maintain current DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Haul grain, fertilizer to and from farms and between company locations.
• Communicate with truck dispatcher, shop personnel, and regional transportation supervisor.
• Complete daily truck log sheets properly.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections.
• Maintain clean truck/trailer and monitor maintenance needs.
• Follow DOT rules, safety policies and company procedures.
• Participate in the DOT drug and alcohol program.
• Assist with vehicle repair and maintenance as needed on the road or in the shop.
