Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a Route Driver to represent the company while delivering and picking up freight. The role involves starting wage of 20.00–24.00 per hour with overtime potential and occasional weekend OT as needed.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a professional appearance. Typical shifts run Monday to Friday with overtime hours of 10–15 per week, and paid OT after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Excellent customer service and ability to work independently.
• Willing to learn manual transmission.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up freight from customers and shippers.
• Inspect and report vehicle mechanical problems.
• Load truck to optimize space and prevent damage.
• Collect payments for certain packages.
• Verify shipping papers and content of pickups.
• Notify management of issues.
• Maintain professional appearance and vehicle cleanliness.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
