Job summary

FullShift Staffing is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to support individuals with disabilities in an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) setting in California. The role requires living within 35 miles of Sylmar, CA and a California RN license with CPR certification.

You'll provide skilled nursing care, develop health care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians and other team members to ensure compassionate, individualized care for residents in a small, supportive facility.

Qualifications

• Active California RN license required.
• 1+ year RN experience required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in an ICF setting.
• Develop, implement, and oversee resident health care plans.
• Administer medications and perform medical procedures as needed.
• Provide wound care within facility licensing requirements.
• Collaborate with physicians, hospice providers, and other members of the care team.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Provide guidance and support to LVNs and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
• Participate in case management and ongoing care planning.
• Help ensure residents receive compassionate, individualized care.

Position Details

• Schedule: 5x8s schedule-full availability needed (day shift)
• Setting: Small Intermediate Care Facilities for individuals with disabilities
• Nursing caseload: Typically 6-15 residents
• Facility size: Small 6-bed and 15-bed homes
• Care environment: Close-knit, supportive setting with limited high-acuity care

What You'll Do

As an RN, you'll play an important role in providing quality care and overseeing the health and well‑being of the individuals we support. Responsibilities include:
