Job summary

FullShift Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in California's ICF facilities. You will provide skilled nursing care, administer medications, implement health care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in small 6-bed and 15-bed homes.

Schedule: 6:00 AM–6:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with on-call evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Qualified candidates hold a CA RN license, have CPR, and at least 1 year of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
• One (1) year experience as an RN is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• A genuine passion for providing quality care to individuals with disabilities and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to individuals with disabilities in an Intermediate Care Facility setting.
• Implement and oversee health care plans for residents.

JOIN OUR FULLSHIFT STAFFING TEAM!

Schedule: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday - Friday; with on-call evenings, weekends and holidays, as needed.

Facility Information:

• Our facilities are Intermediate Care Facilities for individuals with disabilities (ICF/DD-H and ICF/DD-N)
• Caregiver (DSP) to people supported ratio is usually 1:3, sometimes as high as 1:1 support
• Nursing caseload typically ranges from 6-15 residents
• Our home sizes are small, including 6-bed and 15-bed facilities
• High-acuity care is limited or prohibited by facility regulations
• Our Immediate Care Facilities provide wound care per licensing requirements, ranging from simple wounds to a maximum of stage I pressure ulcers
• Hospice care is very limited and is provided collaboratively with professional hospice care providers who come to our homes

Registered Nurse (RN) Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care to individuals with disabilities in an Intermediate Care Facility setting

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the well-being of residents
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
• Offer support and guidance to: License Vocational Nurse (LVN), Direct Support Professionals (DSP)
• Participate in complex case management and engage in continuous learning opportunities

Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
• One (1) year experience as an RN; required
• CPR certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine passion for providing quality care and support to individuals with disabilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Willingness to adapt to the needs of the residents and facility
