Job summary

Iowa Broadcasters in Knoxville, IA seeks a Program Director to lead our on-air team, manage voice tracking for two stations, and oversee sponsorships, promos, and web/social content.

You will work with the GM and Director of Content, adapt to non-traditional hours, learn broadcast equipment, and troubleshoot as needed. Relocation to Knoxville is required. Starting pay is $48,000 annually, negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in local radio or broadcasting preferred.
• Ability to manage on-air team and schedule
• Strong communication and coordination with GM and Content Director

Responsibilities

• Lead the on-air team and oversee voice tracking for two stations.
• Record commercial spots and manage sponsorships and promos inventory.
• Create content for the website and social media channels.
• Participate in Severe Weather Action Team and other duty calls as needed.
