KNIA/KRLS Radio in South Central Iowa is seeking a versatile local radio contributor to join our content team. You will voice track a daily on-air shift, handle sports play-by-play, and conduct both news and sports interviews for our radio station and website.

You will write and record news and sports stories, cover live community events, and share posts to our social media channels. This role offers variety and daily new challenges in a local broadcast environment.

Jobdescription We are searching for a person with a passion for local radio to join our award-winning content team. You'll wear many hats, including voice tracking a daily on-air shift, doing sports play-by-play, conducting both news and sports interviews, writing and recording news and sports stories for our radio station and website, covering live broadcast events in our communities and making posts to our social media channels. No two days will be alike!

We are known as “the one to count on” in Marion and Warren Counties in South Central Iowa and cover a tremendous amount of local news and sports. We offer health insurance, a matching retirement program and paid time-off.
