Job summary

Lakes Gas Co. is hiring a Delivery Driver for a local route with home every night. You will deliver propane, tanks, and cylinders to residential and commercial sites while providing top-tier customer service.

A Class B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (or ability to obtain) and a DOT medical card are required, along with a clean driving record. Must be able to work outdoors in all weather, read/write English, and operate handheld tablets.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or ability to obtain
• Clean driving record as verified by FMCSA
• Pass DOT physical and maintain DOT medical card
• Must read/write and communicate in English
• Comply with federal drug and alcohol testing requirements
• Safety conscious and customer service oriented
• Able to operate and maintain handheld tablets
• Inspect vehicle and report maintenance needs
• DOT Hazmat Training every three years
• Maintain compliance with DOT requirements

Responsibilities

• Deliver propane, tanks and cylinders to residential and commercial sites with first-class customer service
• Maintain and upkeep company and customer equipment
• Perform plant maintenance activities as needed
• Operate and maintain handheld tablets during routes
