Job summary

Lakes Gas is seeking a Delivery Driver for a local route, home every night. You will deliver propane, tanks and cylinders to residential and commercial sites, while providing first-class customer service.

CDL Class B with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (or ability to obtain) is required, along with a clean driving record, DOT medical card, and safe driving. You will work outdoors in varying weather and may operate handheld tablets.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or ability to obtain
• Clean driving record verifiable by motor vehicle reports
• Pass DOT physical and maintain DOT medical card
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English
• Comply with federal drug and alcohol testing requirements
• Safety conscious and customer service oriented
• Ability to operate handheld tablets
• Inspect vehicle and report maintenance needs
• DOT Hazmat training every three years
• Maintain compliance with all DOT requirements

Responsibilities

• Deliver propane, propane tanks and cylinders to residential and commercial sites.
• Provide first-class customer service during deliveries.
• Maintain and upkeep of company and customer equipment.
• Perform plant maintenance activities as needed.
