Lakes Gas is a family-owned propane provider serving the Midwest for over 60 years. This Delivery Driver role is a local route, home every night, requiring a Class B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements and a DOT medical card.

You will deliver propane, tanks, and cylinders to residential and commercial sites while delivering outstanding customer service. The position emphasizes safety, outdoor work in varying weather, and upkeep of equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, or ability to obtain them.
• Clean FMV-record verifiable by a Federal Motor Vehicle Report.
• Pass DOT physical and maintain DOT medical card.
• English language literacy (read/write/speak).
• Comply with federal drug and alcohol testing requirements.
• Safety-conscious and customer-service oriented.
• Operate and maintain handheld tablets.
• Inspect vehicle and notify supervisor of needed maintenance.
• DOT Hazmat Training and Maintenance every three years.
• Maintain compliance with all DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver propane, tanks and cylinders to residential and commercial sites.
• Provide first-class customer service on local route.
• Maintain and upkeep of company equipment and plant tasks.
