Job summary

Ergon, Inc. in Ider, AL seeks a Bobtail Driver to deliver propane to residential and industrial customers. This full-time role involves local routes with home every night, and possible after-hours weekend on-call deliveries.

Qualifications

• CDL with Hazmat & Tanker preferred, or can obtain quickly.
• Clean driving record required.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Physically able to lift 60 lbs in all weather conditions.
• Truck experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, transport and deliver propane safely.
• Provide outstanding customer service and answer inquiries.
• Inspect vehicle and report maintenance needs to supervisor.
• Maintain compliance with all DOT requirements.
• Assist service crew in setting tanks.
• Communicate issues or maintenance needs promptly.
• Additional duties may be assigned by management.
