Job summary

Ergon Inc. is seeking a Bobtail Driver based in Ider, AL to deliver propane to residential and industrial customers on local routes. Full-time role with nightly home time; occasional after-hours/on-call deliveries may be required.

Responsibilities include loading and delivering propane safely, maintaining equipment, and providing excellent customer service while complying with DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• CDL License (Class A or B) with Hazmat & Tanker preferred or obtainable quickly.
• Clean driving record.
• Physically able to lift 60 lbs in all weather conditions.
• Truck experience preferred, but not required.

• Inspects vehicle and notifies supervisor of needed equipment, supplies, or routine maintenance.

• Communicate any issues or maintenance needs.
• Additional duties may be assigned by management as needed.

Job Summary

Based in Ider, AL, Bobtail Drivers are critical to our success as they are the face of our company in their daily interactions with our current and future customers. As full‑time driver on our team, you will pick up and deliver propane to residential and industrial customers in a safe and efficient manner. Delivery drivers can expect to work local routes and be home every night; however, on‑call rotations for after‑hours and weekend emergency deliveries may be needed.
