Job summary

ICL is seeking a Process Engineer in St. Louis, MO to identify and implement process improvements using chemical engineering principles. The role involves collaborating with operators, maintenance, supervision, plant leadership and corporate support to optimize production and safety.

The position requires a B.S. in Engineering (Chemical preferred) with at least two years in manufacturing or food/chemical processing.

• Identify improvements and optimize processes through changes to equipment, systems, practices and procedures
• Identify opportunities, develop and coordinate plant projects to improve process capabilities, safety and competitive position
• Lead and/or coordinate troubleshooting, de-bottlenecking and plant tests with other technical personnel
• Perform technical and economic evaluations of alternative processes and determine relative costs compared to existing processes
• Monitor environmental regulations and performance against regulations
• Participate or lead plant safety activities
