Job summary

ICL Group is seeking a Chemical Process/Manufacturing Engineer for our Lawrence, Kansas plant. You will apply engineering expertise to improve reliability, efficiency, safety, and sustainability of manufacturing processes, partnering with operations, maintenance, and technical teams.

You will lead process improvements, analyze data, support audits and capital projects, and drive cross-functional initiatives to achieve measurable performance gains across the site.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering required.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and plant operations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with operations and maintenance to optimize plant performance through process improvement and technical leadership.
• Analyze production data, implement solutions to manufacturing challenges, support audits and capital projects, and share knowledge via training.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives using data and KPIs to drive operational excellence.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and develop team capabilities through coaching.
